Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking on Dividends –
Corrections to Federal Register Notice
Summary: On September 26, 2007, the FDIC issued FIL-85-2007 seeking comment on an
Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANPR) on alternative methods for allocating dividends
as part of a final rule to implement the dividend requirements of the Federal Deposit Insurance
Reform Act of 2005 and the Federal Deposit Insurance Reform Conforming Amendments Act of
2005. The ANPR was published in the Federal Register on September 18, 2007. In the printing
of the Federal Register notice, errors were made to three charts. The attached Federal Register
notice contains the corrected versions of those charts. Comments on the ANPR are due by
November 19, 2007.
